The chalet is approx. 10 minutes drive up the mountain from St. Gervais-les-Bains, an attractive C19th spa town, with numerous restaurants, good shops, several hotels and bars. If needed there are also doctors, dentists, petrol stations, supermarkets, and car hire close by.

A further 5 minutes up the mountain from the chalet takes you to the skiing of Le Bettex, where there are a small number of restaurants, nursery slopes and ski school, and the gondola up to the main skiing area above Megeve.

From the chalet, it is about 20 minutes by car to the beautiful town of Megeve, 15 mins. to Les Contamines, 25 minutes to Les Houches, or 35 minutes to Chamonix. All of these present alternative skiing opportunities
